Agatti covers about 2.7sq.km and it is steeped in history. It is one of the islands of Lakshadweep that has been recently opened up to the public. This island is known for its traditions and local customs. 

The resort stands in a beautiful area on the island – you can wake up early and catch the promising sunset, go for a swim in the emerald sea or just walk on the beach. If that isn’t enough, there are a host of water sports adventures waiting to be engaged in. You can immerse yourself in the quiet here – there are many nooks and crannies along the beach and lagoons where you can relax. You can go swimming, rowing or diving.   
    
The resort’s reception area is very welcoming. It is built in the traditional style, with touches of local traditions here and there. The staff is very friendly and obliging. For accommodation, you have the option of choosing to stay in separate beach cottages or adjacent beach huts that are built using eco-friendly materials. There are nine beach huts and ten beach cottages.

They are just 50 yards from a sandy bay, offering you closeness to the sea as well as privacy. You can opt between Standard Cottages and Deluxe Cottages. Standard cottages are located on the beach in between the lush green coconut trees, facing the beach, whereas the Deluxe ones stand on the beach, facing the lagoon. There are AC and non AC cottages, and come with amenities such as fridge, television and good linen.
In the resort’s special restaurant, guests are treated to Continental, Chinese and local dishes. Jain food is also served here. You can dine indoors, buffet or al fresco. The imposing coconut trees form a nice canopy for you, when you have your meal outside. And what’s more, if you have just caught a fish from your recent boating trip, the chefs can cook it according to your taste. Enjoy a barbeque, too! Up to 40 people can be accommodated in the business lounge here.

Ayurvedic massages and treatments are available here. Guests can treat themselves to a variety of options. At the Souvenir Shop, you can buy knick-knacks found on the islands, for your friends back home. 

In your leisure time in Agatti, there are many water sports and adventure activities to take up along with family and friends. Some of them are scuba diving, canoeing, water skiing, kayaking, snorkeling, lagoon cruising, sailing, glass bottomed boat riding, fishing, beach volleyball and beach games. Guests at the resort can use kayaks for free here. It’s a good form of exercise and a nice sport to take up. The kayak is propelled by a double bladed paddle, with both of them being made of fibre.    

The dive centre in Agatti is run by a professional German scuba outfit called Dive Lone. They will arrange for all kinds of dives, support you with the necessary crew and equipment, too.

Water skiing is good for individuals and groups. The lagoons around Agatti are super locations for water skiing. Amateurs and professionals can take up this easy sport. If you like sailing, you can rent yachts and crew for the same. This relaxing activity is a good way to bond with your friends and to chill over the blue waters. But when the sea is rough, be careful about the high and rough waves.

Fishing is for those travellers who have patience - you need to enjoy sitting on the boat with the fishing rod and line in hand, waiting for the fish to bite into your bait. Agatti Island Beach Resort is one of the most ideal places to fish as there are many known fishing grounds nearby. You can net anything from Barracuda and Shark, to Kingfish, Snappers, and Stonefish. Don’t forget that you can barbeque the fish that you catch.

Snorkel trips are organised by the resort to nearby coral island reefs. The lack of equipment and gear make snorkelling and easy sport for all. Large, shallow lagoons are ideal spots for it. While underwater, you can swim and around and watch marine wildlife up close. Sea excursions to nearby islands and coral atolls are arranged by the resort. The uninhabited islands of Bangaram, Thinnakara, Parali and Kalpitty are the most visited ones by tourists. The teardrop-shaped island of Eiangaram is located near Agatti Island. It can be quite enchanting to visit this island.                     

Scuba diving takes you to a whole new world under the sea. You can dive down into the deep and explore the plant and animal life, and look at various coral groups.
