Prince of Wales Museum

The Prince of Wales Museum was built to commemorate Prince of Wales, King George V’s visit to Mumbai. Sporting one of the best examples of Victorian architecture, it was by George Wittet and completed in 1923. There isn’t another museum of this kind to beat it. It is located in a posh location and houses hundreds of important exhibits. Paintings, sculptures and artifacts are found here. Tourists can a lot about Indian history from this museum. Some rare antiques of the Indus Valley Civilization exhibited here deserve mention.
